Rule #1:   [The Most Important Factor] Like all supplements, the amount of the active ingredient, or in this case, the amount of Hoodia in your Hoodia weight loss product is clearly an essential part of its potency and potential benefits.  Our months of research shows a sufficient quantity of Hoodia is likely a critical factor when considering different Hoodia weight loss products.  Our research leads us to believe that as much as 2 to 4 grams of Hoodia per day may be ideal. Thus, Hoodia weight loss products with a 2000mg plus daily dose seem like the best value.  Select more powerful Hoodia weight loss products.  Choose Hoodia products with 800mg of Hoodia per pill.  Avoid products claiming to contain potentially too small an amount of Hoodia.  

Rule #2:  The Hoodia weight loss product must be authenticated by a "USDA Protected Plant Permit". This permit is essential in importing real Hoodia into the USA. The USDA Protected Plant permit clearly demonstrates authentic Hoodia weight loss products.

Rule #3:  Current, no more than from the prior year, HPLTC Lab Test (look for Advance Laboratories, a true independent lab) confirming the authenticity of the hoodia in the product. This Independent Lab Report is the most effective way to verify that you are getting a high quality hoodia product. Make sure to look for the report to display its results as show above. Of course, only premium Hoodia weight loss products will display this report and Hoodia weight loss rip-offs will not.  Moreover, insure that the date on the report is no older than six months.

Rule #4:  As a reinforcement to rules #2, and #3 the hoodia product must display a Hoodia Phytosanitary Permit and C.I.T.E.S Certificate showing the Country of origin being South Africa . Note, the Hoodia Phytosanitary Permit will be yellow with a pink official government seal.  The Hoodia Phytosanitary Permit is essential in exporting Hoodia to the USA from south Africa and thus is an excellent Hoodia verification document.  Likewise the Hoodia CITES certificate will also insure that the Hoodia botanical being processed into Hoodia weight loss products is authentic South African Hoodia.  Insure the date on the certificate is not older than six months.

Rule #5:  Take notice that many Hoodia products come with cheaper blended active ingredients like Green Tea, Guarana and Advantra Z (a form of Guarana, which effectively is caffeine).  Why not avoid Hoodia weight loss products with cheaper Green Tea, Guarana and Advantra Z if you can?  Get more, real Hoodia for your money.  Avoid Hoodia weight loss products with any other active ingredients other than real Hoodia.

Rule #6:   Stay clear of Hoodia products that are seemingly too good to be true; these Hoodia hyped weight loss claims and gimmicks may include:

Hoodia candy / Hoodia bites
Hoodia shakes
or Hoodia diet patch

Give yourself a break, there is absolutely no evidence we could find anywhere that any of these hyped Hoodia weight loss products will give more faster weight loss results.  Moreover, our research has revealed that it is virtually impossible to fit the amount of Hoodia these liquid and similar products claim fit in the typical 1 ounce Hoodia liquid bottle!  Finally, when it comes to Hoodia diet patches, don't listen to us, just use your own common sense or better yet listen to the FTC which states there is no evidence that any diet patch can lead to meaningful weight loss.

Rule #7:   Real South African Hoodia gordonii is incredibly expensive with prices of about $300 per kilo. Clearly, Hoodia weight loss products advertised at bargain prices are not the real thing.  

Rule #8:  Beware of  FREE TRIAL offers for Hoodia weight loss products spamming your email box.  First, we would advise you to steer clear of any offer provide via spam emails.  Much of all major spam emails are from overseas scam artists.  Obviously, these promotional gimmicks are outright SCAMS.  Moreover, did you know that when you accept these so called free Hoodia offers, you will receive Hoodia weight loss products on an ongoing basis with your credit card automatically charged.  And what's worse, its much easier to initiate your autoship program to the end it.  

Rule #9:  Select a reputable Hoodia weight loss company.   The Hoodia weight loss company website should have:

a toll free number to ask questions, or place an order
independent testing of their products for purity, contaminants, etc.
a defined written guarantee and refund policy.
a customer service phone number, and email contact form
